I believe that we all have the capacity to heal, and that the answers we seek often lie within. Growing up in a fast-paced environment with internalized pressure to succeed, I often felt inadequate and lost, trying to live life according to standards that were not my own. To put it simply, I was disconnected from myself.
In my twenties, a concussion forced me to slow down, connect with my inner world, and re-engage with life in a new way. Through yoga, meditation and other forms of embodied expression, I came back home to myself and my body. I felt through the pain, grief, and heartbreak this body held, and in doing so, I also experienced its joy, beauty, awe, and wonder.
The containers that held these spaces for me to feel through and be with my inner experience were always loving, compassionate, and kind. These were the spaces in which I felt safe, seen, and supported to do the healing work. And this is the space I wish to be for you as a counsellor. A soft and tender place for your nervous system to land so that you can come to know and relate to yourself in a new way. A place where you may feel safe to be with what feels dark, challenging, sticky, and unpleasant so you may know the beauty that is waiting for you on the other side.
My approach to counselling is person-centered and integrative. Empathy and compassion are the core foundation of my work. I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to feel supported to show up as they are and comfortable to explore what is going on in their world. Together, we will increase awareness of thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and sensations, getting a better understanding of what might be going on behind the scenes and possibly holding you back from living life the way you want to. It is my intention to listen deeply and attune to each person as an individual. From there, I take an integrative approach drawing on multiple modalities such as somatic therapy, parts work, narrative therapy, CBT, DBT, and solution focused therapy so that we can tend to what needs tending to and create conscious change moving forward.
I am currently offering 1:1 online counselling sessions and walk and talk sessions in Brampton and Mississauga, ON.
I am registered as an RPC-C with the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association and received a Professional Counsellor Diploma from Rhodes Wellness College. My license# is 4693.
If you have access to insurance, I recommend checking whether our sessions are eligible for coverage. An invoice can be provided upon request to facilitate reimbursement.

This call is for new clients. It is an opportunity for us to meet and connect on what is bringing you to counselling. I will walk you through my approach to counselling and what our sessions might look like, answer any questions you may have, and from here we can determine if we are a good fit.
As part of our first session together, we will cover some of your background and experiences so that I have a broader view of who you are, while softly leaning into your main reason for attending counselling.
In subsequent sessions, we will narrow in more specifically on what has brought you to counselling, drawing on different modalities as seen fit.
After an initial 60 minute online intake session, a walk and talk can be booked located in an outdoor location TBD together in either Brampton or Mississauga, ON. This option is great to simultaneously experience the healing benefits of nature.
